Image Processing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Image Processing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing image processing algorithms to enhance and analyze images. The Image Processing Engineer will work closely with other members of the engineering team to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of image processing systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer vision, image processing, and programming, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement image processing algorithms to optimize image quality, enhance details, and reduce noise

- Design and implement computer vision algorithms for pattern recognition, object detection, and image analysis

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical expertise on image processing solutions

- Test and validate image processing algorithms to ensure accuracy and reliability

- Optimize existing image processing systems to improve speed, performance, and efficiency

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in image processing techniques and technologies

- Troubleshoot and debug any issues related to image processing systems

- Document and present technical reports, specifications, and test results to stakeholders

- Assist in the development of software tools and libraries for image processing tasks

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred

- Proven experience in image processing and computer vision, with a strong background in algorithm development and optimization

- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB

- Familiarity with image processing libraries and frameworks, such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch

- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with knowledge of linear algebra, probability, and statistics

- Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques for image analysis is a plus

- Knowledge of hardware/software integration, camera systems, and imaging sensors is desirable

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
